In an excellent condition a rare Sachsen silver shooting award medal King Albert 1874 4th class.

The shooting medals of the Kingdom of Saxony were first issued by King Johann in 1869. Under King Albert these medals were only donated in 4 classes in 1874. In 1885 (in the second edition) the classes were reorganized and a large special class was established.
The medals were awarded as a portable award on a ribbon ring as well as a non-portable medal in a case. The die cutter was Barduleck. Many types of stamps were used during the award period. New stamps were made in 1869, 1877 and 1896.

small shooting award medal (1st edition) 3rd class from 1885 (4th class) 34 mm, 21 g, number of awards (2500 1st edition) 2350 pieces (2nd edition),
small shooting award medal (1st edition) 4th class from 1885 (5th class) 34 mm, 14 g, number of awards (540 1st edition) 2100 pieces (2nd edition)

Round medal made of silver with a rim. Above is an ordinary eyelet soldered on with a ribbon ring.

In the center is the portrait of King Albert with a full beard looking to the right.
Small under the neck section - BARDULECK FEC. -
Back:

At the edge a wreath of oak leaves tied with a bow at the bottom.
